Consult are supporting a well-established global agribusiness with the hire of an Area Sales Manager to cover the Gippsland region — one of their strongest dairy territories.
This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with an agricultural background who enjoys working directly with farmers, building long-term relationships, and helping producers improve performance through practical, value-added solutions.
The role would suit someone from dairy, livestock, stockfeed, animal nutrition, farm supplies, rural merchandise, dairy services, ag tech, herd management or broader on-farm customer-facing roles. Previous sales experience would be useful, but the business is also open to earlier-career candidates with strong dairy/agri knowledge and the right attitude to grow into the role.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a warm Gippsland territory
- Build relationships with dairy farmers and reseller partners
- Support customers with practical herd improvement solutions
- Take over an established region with a full handover from the current Area Manager
- Join a respected global business within the agricultural sector
Package
- $10,000 target bonus

This is a field-based role, but travel is very manageable, with only limited overnight travel required.
