Sharp & Carter are partnering with a global organisation to recruit 2x Life Insurance Claims Specialist for a 12‑month contract based in Sydney CBD.
This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical capability across TPD and Income Protection claims. You will step into a live portfolio and manage claims end‑to‑end with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an end‑to‑end portfolio of 40‑50 TPD & IP claims
- Assess and determine claims in line with policy, legislation, and guidelines
- Review and interpret medical, financial, and employment evidence
- Liaise with claimants, medical professionals, employers, and stakeholders
- Deliver accurate, well‑reasoned, and compliant claim decisions
About You
- Minimum 1 year life insurance claims experience
- Hands‑on IP and/or TPD assessment experience with delegated authority
- Experience in Group and/or Life Insurance claims management
- Strong written communication and decision‑making skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
