The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Associate – Civil Infrastructure Delivery to join our Adelaide team and support a growing pipeline of civil infrastructure projects across South Australia.

This role suits a senior delivery professional with strong civil construction experience who is ready to work in a client-side project management, superintendency and infrastructure advisory environment.

You will work across roads, stormwater, drainage, bridges, utilities, water, wastewater, transport and public realm projects, supporting procurement, mobilisation, construction, completion and defects close-out. This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys being close to construction while contributing to client‑side delivery, contract administration and project governance.

The role will involve:

- acting as Superintendent’s Representative on selected projects;
- guiding and supporting Project Engineers and site-based delivery resources;
- reviewing contractor programmes, methodologies, ITPs, WHS/environmental documentation and quality records;
- undertaking and overseeing site inspections, surveillance, hold points and defect close-out;
- preparing and reviewing contract records, RFIs, variations, EOTs, progress claims and completion documentation;
- liaising with clients,



contractors, designers, authorities and project stakeholders;
- providing practical, construction-informed advice to support safe, timely and commercially sound project outcomes.

We are looking for someone with:

- 8–12+ years’ civil infrastructure or construction delivery experience;
- background as a Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, Superintendent’s Representative, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Surveillance Lead or similar;
- experience in roads, drainage, stormwater, bridges, utilities, water/wastewater, transport or local government infrastructure;
- strong contract administration, site delivery, QA and stakeholder coordination skills;
- the ability to mentor and guide less experienced engineers;
- clear written communication and sound commercial judgement;
- willingness to travel to regional South Australian project sites as required.

Experience with AS2124, AS4000, DIT-style specifications, local government infrastructure, superintendency or independent construction verification will be highly regarded.
