Roles and responsibilities

- Design & Build APIs – Develop high-quality RESTful APIs using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, and OpenAPI 3.0 specifications




- Contract-First Development – Author and maintain OpenAPI YAML contracts
- Integration – Integrate with downstream Mesh services via WebFlux/WebClient (reactive HTTP)
- Testing – Write unit tests (JUnit 5, Mockito), component tests, and maintain Postman/Newman collections
- CI/CD Pipeline – Support Bamboo-based build and deployment pipelines
- Code Quality – Maintain code coverage and resolve SonarQube issues
- Deployment – Deploy to WDP Mesh platform
- Observability – Implement structured logging and performance logging
- Documentation – Maintain API documentation and developer README files
- Collaboration – Work with QE leads, Domain Architects, and API teams
