Pay: $39.85 – $41.05 per hour (depending on qualification & experience) + $2.68 Educational Leader Allowance + Super
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with educators to observe, review, and continually enhance the educational programs for children.
- Deepen the team’s understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Work closely with centre leadership to lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.
- Lead sensory‑rich, play‑based learning environments designed to prepare children for school.
- Support daily art and music experiences that spark creativity.
- Build meaningful community partnerships that bring real‑world learning into the centre.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
- Robust knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Current QLD Working with Children Check.
- Previous experience leading change in education (preferred).
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or equivalent (preferred).
