About the role

It’s important to know: what you do matters. At Zurich, we don’t just cover, we care. This is an opportunity to step into a role that goes beyond traditional learning and development. As our Claims Technical Learning Consultant, you’ll play a key role in shaping how capability is built across Retail Life Claims, directly supporting major transformation initiatives and improving outcomes for customers when they need support most.

Working within our People Team, you’ll partner closely with Claims leaders and subject‑matter experts to design and embed learning solutions that drive sustained performance, uplift capability and introduce more effective ways of working.



You’ll help influence meaningful change at scale—combining your claims expertise and passion for development to make a genuine difference.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver capability initiatives that support the Retail Claims transformation program with a focus on Income Protection
- Partner with Claims leaders and subject‑matter experts to embed improvements in claims management and return‑to‑work outcomes
- Develop and implement learning solutions that drive behaviour change and support adoption of current ways of working
- Support onboarding, technical pathways and performance support tools to strengthen capability across teams
- Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions and learning interventions to improve performance outcomes
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and recommend improvements to drive better business outcomes

Qualifications

- Strong technical experience within Retail Life Claims, ideally Income Protection claims
- Demonstrated understanding of claims decision‑making, duration management and return‑to‑work practices
- Experience designing and delivering capability, coaching or behavioural change initiatives in a complex environment
- Ability to translate business priorities into practical learning solutions that deliver measurable outcomes




- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence leaders and frontline teams
- Proven coaching and facilitation capability with a focus on embedding sustainable behaviour change
