Registered Nurse – Cardiology

Location: Gladstone, QLD

Your Key Responsibilities

As a highly valued registered nurse, you’ll use your clinical expertise to deliver world‑class, patient‑focused care to regional Queensland patients.

In This Role You Will

- Work closely with visiting Advara cardiologists and cardiac sonographers to deliver coordinated, patient‑centred care.
- Perform resting 12‑lead ECGs, blood pressure measurements and application of 24‑hour Holter monitors.
- Monitor patients during procedures, recognising and managing any adverse reactions promptly.
- Supervise stress echocardiograms alongside a multidisciplinary team, including dynamic ECG monitoring and clinical management of adverse events.
- Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures to improve health literacy and outcomes.
- Manage patient data collection, validation and documentation via electronic medical records.
- Provide front‑of‑clinic support with minor administrative duties (meet and greet, distribute and collect patient forms).

What We Need You To Have

- Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse.
- Minimum five years of experience in cardiology, critical care, or a similar nursing role, with a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ECG analysis and interpretation.
- Proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.




- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

We Would Also Love You To Have

- Postgraduate qualifications in cardiology, critical care or a related field.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to complete it.
- Proficiency in IV cannulation or willingness to develop this skill.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Proficiency in both independent and team‑oriented work environments.
