Role Summary

As the Food & Beverage Attendant, you will support event clients, customers and guests during special occasions within the hotel. Working in a team, you will assist the Events Supervisor and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in day‑to‑day operations and help achieve our purpose of delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

- Meet and greet guests arriving and departing functions and meetings
- Assist with set‑up of functions and meeting spaces, adhering to safe manual handling practices
- Deliver personalized service in a large‑scale operation
- Ensure the delivery of brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times
- Serve food and beverage to guests according to established sequence of service and procedures
- Maintain constant communication with the kitchen team and sales & marketing team

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or events experience in a hotel or fast‑paced workplace




- Valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate for Victoria
- Strong interpersonal, communication and time‑management skills
- Excellent guest service skills, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to create a positive first impression
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
