The Company

Resourceful Recruitment has partnered with a leading entity within the Oil & Gas sector committed to pioneering advancements in energy solutions. Located in the heart of Brisbane, they’re currently seeking a self-motivated and experienced Sourcing Specialist to join the Contracts and Procurement team.

About the Role

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring strategic alignment with business needs, and driving cost-effective, risk-mitigated sourcing outcomes.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop procurement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to deliver effective sourcing strategies.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including market analysis, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and quality requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Support contract owners in managing supplier performance, escalations, and variations.




- Align procurement strategies with corporate social responsibility commitments, including local, regional, Indigenous, and ethical sourcing initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in pre-award sourcing
- Degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, or Mining environments
- Strong understanding of professional indemnities, specifications, liabilities and insurances
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Project-based experience
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
