Location: The farm in Lobethal is situated along the south coast of Western Australia, approximately 100 km east of Esperance and 30 km south of Beaumont, with easy access to beaches, 4x4 tracks, and local school bus routes.

Farm Operations Manager

As Farm Operations Manager, you will have full oversight of the farm's activities at Warakirri Cropping.

- Management and supervision of Leading Hand and Machinery Operators.
- Significant contribution to decision‑making processes.
- Collaborate with the Farm Manager on daily farm management and performance.
- Lead operational management, employee and contractor management, and Workplace Health and Safety.
- Work closely with the farm manager, independent agronomy team, and in‑house precision ag team to monitor and manage crops.
- Chance to maximize crop potential through monitoring and management.
- Contribute to the development of the farm, its people, and group culture in line with company values.
- Operate machinery, including spraying, planting, spreading, and harvesting.





Qualifications

- Either experience in or readiness for a step‑up into a leadership role in broad acre cropping.
- Experience in growing dryland winter crops and operating large‑scale cropping equipment, with a willingness to build on technical expertise.
- Pride in mentoring and coaching others.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with consulting agronomists and contractors.
- Thrives in a team environment and recognized for the ability to learn, adopt new practices, and further develop skills.
- High level of initiative, self‑motivation, and a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- Strong communication skills and excitement to contribute to the success of a high‑performing farm operation.
