With a team of 70 + specialists, the firm helps organisations become impact‑focused, resilient, and future‑ready through a powerful combination of science, strategy, and storytelling.
The Opportunity
In partnership with Edge Impact, Talent Nation is seeking exceptional talent who align with the firm’s values and B Corp ethos. If you are passionate about creating real‑world impact through ethical business practices, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
- Use data, analytics, and dashboards to map complex supply chains, identify modern slavery and human‑rights risks, and highlight areas for action.
- Design clear mitigation strategies and support implementation, guided by leading international frameworks such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights (UNGPs), OECD Due Diligence Guidance, and ILO standards.
- Translate organisational commitments into practical procurement and supply‑chain due‑diligence processes, supported by reliable data and governance systems.
- Develop policies, escalation pathways, and remediation approaches that drive accountability and improve visibility across the supply chain.
- Prepare modern‑slavery statements and reporting frameworks aligned with the Australian Modern Slavery Act and international standards.
- Design and deliver training, workshops, and capacity‑building programmes for staff, suppliers, and partners.
- Partner with executives, procurement teams, suppliers, civil society, and Indigenous communities to embed ethical sourcing, sustainability, and social impact.
- Work closely with Edge Impact’s multidisciplinary team of experts, sharing ideas and insights to create comprehensive and holistic solutions.
About You
You are a natural collaborator who thrives in team environments and brings energy to collective problem‑solving.
With an innate curiosity and adaptable mindset, you are excited to grow your skills in a fast‑paced, evolving field. You take a proactive approach to challenges and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team where learning and innovation are part of everyday work.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in sustainability, human rights, law, business, environmental science, international development or a related field.
- An understanding of up-to-date slavery and human‑rights risk assessment, mitigation, and due diligence.
- Ability to apply international frameworks (UNGPs, OECD, ILO) in real‑world procurement and supply‑chain contexts.
- Confidence in using data and analytics to profile, prioritise, and monitor risk effectively.
- Experience translating high‑level ESG or human‑rights commitments into actionable processes and governance frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to prepare modern‑slavery statements, reports and training resources.
- Stakeholder engagement — from executives to suppliers, civil society and frontline teams.
- Experience supporting Indigenous engagement strategies, including Reconciliation Action Plans and supplier diversity initiatives, is highly valued.
Why This Role Matters
Edge Impact isn’t just another consultancy. In this role you will be part of a mission‑driven team that is actively working to eliminate modern slavery and protect human rights in global supply chains, decarbonise the planet, and contribute to positive environmental outcomes. Your expertise will translate directly into improved conditions for vulnerable workers and more responsible business practices.
