Are you a creative, technology-driven problem solver with the strategic mindset of a marketer? We are seeking a solutions-focused innovator to support and grow our Industrial Automation portfolio across Australasia, identifying customer needs and positioning Yokogawa solutions to deliver value.

This role combines deep technical expertise with commercial awareness, supporting approximately 60% technical solution development and 40% sales, business development, and marketing initiatives . You will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, developing proof-of-concept solutions, supporting customer engagements, and delivering impactful marketing initiatives that showcase our capabilities. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive innovation, strengthen customer engagement, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth across key process and manufacturing industries

What you’ll do?

- Identify, qualify, and develop strategic opportunities for automation solutions across targeted market segments, including both brownfield expansion and greenfield projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design cutting-edge and technically sound solutions, including Proof of concept development from ideation through to technical validation, customer presentations and commercial handover.
- Work closely with Solutions Sales and Business Development teams to convert qualified opportunities into successful customer engagements.
- Support customer engagement activities including solution presentations and technical discussions.
- Support the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns,



promoting automation capabilities including representing at trade shows and industry forums to generate new leads and strengthen the organisational visibility.

What you’ll bring?

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with one or more of the following: DCS /SIS/PLC/RTU/SCADA etc.
- Proven experience in developing technically sound automation solutions within process industries, manufacturing environments, and industrial control systems.
- Experience working in customer-facing environments, including sales, presales, or marketing-led functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
- Ability to travel across Australia and Current Zealand as required.
- Strong drive for closure, with demonstrated ability to take ownership of leads and opportunities through the full lifecycle, including follow-ups, stakeholder engagement, proposal support, and successful conversion to customer outcomes.
