Associate / Senior Associate – Employment & Safety Solicitor
Dentons is the world’s largest law firm and we are seeking a mid‑level lawyer, either on the cusp of becoming a Senior Associate or recently promoted, preferably with skills in conducting investigations and litigation, to join our Employment & Safety practice in Sydney. In this role you will work across a broad range of clients, including those referred by our international offices.
About the Role
The Employment & Safety practice is a national practice that specializes in a broad range of workplace, employment, and safety matters. You will be expected to:
- run matters end to end;
- exhibit strong drafting and communication skills with a particular emphasis on commerciality and clarity in advice;
- manage client relationships;
- drive your own practice each day;
- identify risks and issues promptly and raise them with the partner;
- possess a positive sense of judgement and the ability to make difficult decisions.
Your client engagement talents are essential to work with organisations to anticipate, manage and resolve issues that arise during the workplace lifecycle. Your impeccable communication skills, ability to establish trust with a range of clients, high regard for quality driven outcomes and a "challenge accepted" growth mindset are necessary traits to succeed in this role.
