Overview

Ideight is one of Perth’s newest engineering consultancies, and we’re growing quickly. We’re looking for an engineering graduate that is interested in the field of process and technical safety engineering.

Ideight are a consultancy that provides advice to and performs studies and workshops for any company that requires process safety, technical safety, and health and safety services. These three disciplines work in parallel, each supporting the other. Our graduates work across all service offerings before selecting a discipline to specialise in later in their career.

As part of our dynamic team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across all areas of process safety, technical safety, and health & safety consulting, contributing to high-profile projects from day one. You’ll assist in safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, ALARP, and more), develop safety documentation and model risk scenarios, all while learning directly from senior engineers.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication and problem-solving skills, a team-first attitude, and the drive to become a leader in risk and safety engineering.

Responsibilities

- Assist in safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, ALARP, and more)
- Develop safety documentation and model risk scenarios

- Learn directly from senior engineers

Qualifications

- Engineering degree essential (Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Team-first attitude and drive to become a leader in risk and safety engineering
