About the role

We are looking for an experienced corporate finance executive to support our client's mergers and acquisition lead advisory team. This person will work closely with the Directors and clients to deliver key strategic transaction outcomes. Principal tasks will include preparing Information Memorandums, financial modelling, market research, managing bidders and datarooms and general transaction support. You will also support the Directors in their business development initiatives. You will work within a high performance team culture, which encourages independent thinking and values learning from the collective experience. The role is a critical contributor to the success of the team and the remuneration model is structured to ensure you share in that success.

About you

You are:

- a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst or Lawyer (or have another skilled qualification of financial discipline)
- a post-graduate with four - eight years’ experience in M&A;
- someone with strong technical skills in M&A; with experience across corporate finance / transaction services / valuations / due diligence
- a commercial thinker who is analytical, likes to solve problems, and has a high attention to detail
- empathetic and driven by creating value for your clients
- able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- commercial experience is highly valued (most of the people in the team have worked in commercial as well as professional roles)
- focused on the client and understand the significant role you are playing in their unfolding corporate story. During the difficult moments, you will have client’s back and advise with integrity and insight to help them achieve more.
- hands on experience in developing people, leaning in and coaching, mentoring and developing delivery team.
- process improvement driven, adopts and leverages technology
- experienced in business development, with an established network and can demonstrate sector experience
