Autopact now has a number of roles available for Technicians, Accessory Fitters and Trade Assistant mechanic to join our team at our Bayford site, due to our ongoing success and expansion! A brand-new opportunity is available for you to join Bayford one of Melbourne’s largest and well-established Automotive dealership groups with various locations across Melbourne! We are now looking to recruit Pre-Delivery Technicians / Accessory Fitters / Trade Assistants here at our Pre-Delivery Centre.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on the latest, brand-new state of the art vehicles arriving in Australia across several brands.

We have Ford Super duty, Kia Tasman, Mustang and Mustang Mach E

Brands we work on are, Ford, Kia, Nissan, Vw, Xpeng,Gwm and Gac

- Ongoing training and mentoring onsite.

- An opportunity will be available to transfer to our Pre-Customer final vehicle preparation process for the right candidate.

- An opportunity to progress to Workshop controller Foreman.

Responsibilities will include:

- Fitting accessories to customer vehicles prior to delivery.

- Assisting with daily operational tasks.

- Vehicle detail check prior to delivery.

- Assisting workshop staff and managers with regular duties.

- Carry out pre-delivery vehicle inspections.

- Learning the processes of fitting electrical/accessory components.

- Performing repairs and maintenance work on vehicles.

- Complete repair orders and vehicle services diligently.

- Minor electrical work, Anderson plugs, Dash Cams, Reverse sensors,

dual battery systems.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Experience as an Accessory Fitter will be highly regarded.

- Light Vehicle Mechanic Qualification is desirable.

- You will be an enthusiastic, hard worker.

- The ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.

- Exceptional attention to detail and quality workmanship.

- Current driver's license with good driving record.

- The willingness and commitment to learn and ambition to succeed.

- The ability to self-motivate.

- A passion for the automotive industry.

- High level of personal commitment and focus.
