The Role

We are offering multiple permanent Part time and Casual opportunities for Support Services Staff, including areas cleaning, laundry and catering duties to join our facility based in Wauchope, NSW.

What you will do

Cleaning & Laundry:

- Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards
- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areas
- Cleaning communal and dining areas
- Cleaning and sorting laundry
- Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use.
- Adhering to infection control principles,



WHS requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
- Completing required documentation and reporting

Catering:

- Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
- Distribution of meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties
- Dining room services
- Providing excellent personalised service to our residents
- Ensure duties are performed in accordance with Infection Control and Food Safety Handling Standards
- Ensure a high standard and quality of cleanliness throughout the organisation.
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment.
- Completion of documentation

What you will bring

- Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Workers Screen (or willing to obtain) - Mandatory
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essential
