Project Manager
Dream Doors Kitchens Australia is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end project delivery process for our kitchen renovation projects, ensuring quality standards are met and projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Key responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines and milestones
Create a budget, taking into account materials, labor, and other costs
identify and allocate necessary resources, including skilled labor, tools, and equipment
Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for the client
Clearly communicate project details, timelines, and budget with the client
Address client questions, concerns, and change requests promptly and professionally
Material Procurement:
Monitor material inventory and re-order as necessary to avoid delays
Team Management:
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members
Monitor work progress and ensure quality and safety standards are met
Manage the work schedule and coordinate team members’ activities
Cost Management:
rack project expenses and ensure they remain within the budget
identify and address cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
Time Management:
Monitor project timelines and ensure that the project stays on schedule
Adjust schedules and resources as needed to meet project deadlines
Anticipate and address potential delays or obstacles
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed project records, including contracts, invoices, and change orders
Generate regular progress reports for the client and stakeholders
Project Completion:
Oversee the installation of cabinets at the project site
Ensure that the project is completed to the client’s satisfaction
Conduct a final inspection and walkthrough with the client to address any remaining concerns and action any remedial work needed
Post-Project Evaluation:
Issue warranty certificate upon completion of the project
Gather client feedback, manage customer reviews and referrals
Use this to enhance future projects and generate further business
About you:
- Basic carpentry/handyman experience (preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently while adhering to quality and safety standards
- Strong work ethic
- Well presented, hardworking, honest and reliable
- Communication skills that enable you to liaise with clients, sub traders, suppliers, and your fellow team
- Drivers’ licence
- Experience pulling a trailer
