About Thread Together

Thread together is a not-for-profit organisation driving social and environmental change by redistributing excess clothing stock through clothing hubs. Through the Thread Together Hub, those in need are given a referral to be able to “shop” (for free) for a new wardrobe. Thread Together Hubs are designed to enable our customers to build trust and rapport within a dignified, safe and positive workplace.

Cafs are delivering this service at the new Thread Together hub located at 11 Grenville Street, Ballarat.

Our ideal volunteer:

- Holds some retail and shop assistant experience

- Is compassionate and have a genuine interest in helping others

- Has strong communication skills

- Enjoys working in a fun working environment

- Is a team player
