Our client is searching for a highly skilled Chef for their busy kitchen in Railway Hotel QLD. This is a rare and exciting prospect for an experienced Chef to join its fantastic team. In this role you will be given a great deal of guidance and instruction in assisting with prep and grill cooking.
This is a kitchen that thrives on constant creativity and every chef will be encouraged to show what they can do.
About the role
- Maintain high level kitchen standards and quality
- Ensure that the Kitchen Minimum Standards are being complied to
- Assist in the efficient running of Kitchen operations
- Deliver outstanding food in taste and presentation
- Training junior kitchen staff
About you
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commands respect in the kitchen
- Team player and supportive of a culture of team work
- High food standards in taste and presentation
- Qualifications required - Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
