The Role

Acting as a trusted commercial advisor to the GM, you will provide insight, challenge and decision support to senior operational leaders, helping translate financial analysis into practical, value‑adding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with senior operational leaders to support commercial and strategic decision‑making.
- Lead business case development, investment analysis and commercial evaluations.
- Provide clear insight into profitability, pricing, customer and product performance.
- Oversee P&L; and balance sheet performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support working capital management and capital expenditure planning.
- Provide a strong commercial lens across planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Support major contracts, negotiations,



strategic projects and business initiatives.
- Drive improvements in reporting, governance, tools and commercial processes.
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance standards.

About You

- CA/CPA qualified.
- A strong background within a complex, multi‑site manufacturing setting is essential. You have built your experience partnering directly with operational leaders and manufacturing sites.
- Deep commercial business‑partnering capability, a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost drivers, and a demonstrated track record of influencing performance, challenging the business and driving improved commercial outcomes.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Comfortable providing constructive challenge while maintaining trusted relationships.
- Confident working in fast‑paced, change‑oriented environments.

Additional Requirements

- You must be onsite full time during the initial months to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Monthly interstate travel will be required.
