Overview
Youths Mental Health Clinician – Young. The role is to provide professional support to young people with severe and persistent mental illness using evidence‑based skills and interventions. You will work within a dynamic workforce, engaging challenging clients, guiding future management in primary health settings, and facilitating referrals to specialist services where necessary.

Position Classification

Remuneration
- $79,419.00 – $122,465.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)
Hours Per Week
- Up to 38 hours
Responsibilities
The focus is on young people with complex or high needs who may be difficult to engage in effective treatment and support.
The aim is to guide their future management in primary health settings, provide evidence‑based interventions, and facilitate referral to specialist settings where required.
Qualifications
- Hold a relevant Australian recognised qualification as a Counsellor, Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse.
- Registration (or eligibility) with the appropriate peak bodies (e.g., AHPRA, PACFA, AASW).
- NSW Working with Children clearance.
- Compliance with Vaccination Category A.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
