Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team in Newcastle Fire Station, Elswick NA4 6HL. This is a permanent full‑time role working 37 hours per week with an annual salary of £25,460.00 and a advantages package.
- Facilitate the delivery of services provided to Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Authority by Equans at any of their PFI Estate sites.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with the appropriate schedules and standards.
- Undertake a range of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks at the frequencies specified by corresponding plans and industry standards.
- Log any jobs that arise whilst on site, and monitor and take appropriate action on jobs that have been allocated.
- Provide excellent customer service as a front‑facing, customer‑centric role.
Qualifications
- Experience of operational delivery of Fire & Maintenance (FM) Services.
- Previous supervisory experience desirable.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Evidence of right to work in the UK.
- Pass BPSS level vetting, including DBS clearance with an enhanced check.
