About The Role
As a Clinical Assistant, you will provide essential support to our team of Radiographers, Sonographers, and Nurses while ensuring patients receive a high standard of care at our busy South West Health Campus in Bunbury. This role offers flexibility and exposure across multiple imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting radiographers and other clinical staff during imaging procedures
- Supporting patient care by understanding relevant clinical backgrounds and ensuring accurate patient identification
- Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after imaging examinations
- Undertaking patient cannulation and preparation for imaging across multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X‑ray, and interventional procedures
- Obtaining and confirming patient consent in accordance with clinical and organisational policies
- Patient transport and provision of general clinical assistance
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised clinical environment
- Stock management and preparation of imaging equipment
- Adhering to infection control standards and workplace health and safety requirements
About You
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting (desirable but not essential)
- Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance or similar (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, compassionate, and patient‑focused
- Flexible availability and ability to work in a fast‑paced workplace
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
