Overview

Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa , located in Port Douglas, offers a range of accommodations including studios, two and three-bedroom apartments, and a three-bedroom beach front private villa. The resort provides all-day dining at ALUCO Restaurant & Bar, a Pool Bar, and Vie Spa with customised facial treatments and massages. Purpose

As a Kitchen Steward, you will help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, including dishware, utensils, and workspaces. You will be an integral part of the kitchen brigade, collaborating with the team to support high-quality dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

- Maintain impeccable hygiene while cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other kitchen equipment using both commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods
- Carry out rubbish removal, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors
- Disinfect and clean, ensuring proper chemical usage and safety




- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks such as grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings

Qualifications & Experience

- Practical experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is a plus
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with a positive and motivated demeanor
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability to accommodate shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays
