Lead Commercial Projects with an Industry Leader

Higgins Coatings is one of Australasia's leading commercialpainting and maintenance contractors, delivering projects across commercialbuildings, education facilities, healthcare, industrial sites and publicinfrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join ourNewcastle team. Reporting directly to the Newcastle Branch Manager, you willtake ownership of a portfolio of commercial repainting projects across theregion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and tothe high standards Higgins Coatings is known for.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated andcommercially focused Project Manager looking to make a genuine impact within arespected national business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Newcastle Branch Manager, yourresponsibilities will include:

- Managingcommercial painting projects from commencement through to completion
- Planningand coordinating labour, materials, plant and subcontractors
- Monitoringproject performance, budgets and profitability
- Ensuringprojects are delivered safely, on schedule and to specification
- Buildingand maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Conductingsite inspections and resolving project challenges
- Managingproject documentation, compliance and reporting requirements
- Drivingcustomer satisfaction and obtaining final project sign-off

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Provenexperience managing commercial painting projects




- Strongleadership and people management skills
- Demonstratedability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget
- Strongcommercial awareness and financial management capability
- Excellentplanning, organisational and communication skills
- Theability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors andsuppliers
- Confidenceusing project management and administrative systems
- Aproactive approach with strong problem-solving skills

A trade background in painting will be highly regarded.
