We’re seeking an experienced Civil Designer/Drafter to join our Sunshine Coast team in a full‑time role.
Working alongside a team of talented engineers and designers, you’ll contribute to a diverse and active project pipeline.
Success in this position means delivering accurate and efficient drafting solutions that align with project and client expectations, while fostering working relationships with internal teams, clients, and authorities.
Applicants must have permanent working rights to work in Australia.
- Develop and deliver civil drafting documentation across land development and/or transport infrastructure projects.
- Plan, prepare and manage civil drawing packages and use AutoCAD.
- Design capability in 12D (including Network Editor) or Civil3D.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and design efficiency.
- Apply relevant Australian standards, local government requirements, and Austroads guidelines in design solutions.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and project outcomes.
- Assist with the development of construction documents/specifications and construction phase queries.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in civil drafting, ideally within a consultancy environment. More experienced persons may be considered for senior roles and are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Associate Diploma).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused setting.
