Role Overview
This post is responsible for providing essential activities, exercise, engagement and cognitive stimulation for our residents. As part of the care team you will help with activities of daily living and also support care staff to meet the needs of older people in a residential care setting, as required by legislation.
Responsibilities
- Engage residents in daily activities and associated cognitive stimulation.
- Support care staff to meet the needs of older people in a residential care setting in compliance with legislation.
- Plan and offer meaningful, individually tailored activities that meet residents' needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Interest in working with older adults.
- Motivation to engage residents and design meaningful activities.
- Desirable: valid driving licence.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
