An opportunity now exists for an exceptional Underground Mine Manager to lead one of Australia's most technically advanced underground operations.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, productive and profitable delivery of all underground mining activities while leading a large multidisciplinary workforce through the next phase of operational improvement.
This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of the industry's flagship underground operations.
You'll bring:
- Degree in Mining Engineering and Queensland First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (or the ability to obtain one).
- Significant experience leading large mechanised underground mining operations.
- Strong operational leadership capability.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
- Robust commercial and financial acumen.
- Proven ability to improve productivity, safety and operational performance.
