Macison is partnering with a National Transport Company in supoprting the search of the HR & Safet Advisor.

As they are growing rapid it is now it's time to build an HR function that matches that momentum. This isn't a role where you inherit someone else's system and keep the wheels turning. This is where you build it.

Here's the exciting part: the HRIS is already embedded. No wrestling with implementation or chasing legacy admin, you walk in and focus on what actually matters: the people, the culture, and keeping a safety-critical workforce moving.

This is a standalone role, which means real autonomy from day one, plus the backing of a business that's genuinely invested in growing your capability as the function (and you) scale.

What You'll Own

- Recruitment & Talent Attraction: end-to-end hiring for drivers, warehouse and support roles, including safety-critical and high-volume recruitment
- WHS & Safety: supporting the WHS Management System, incident investigations, and Chain of Responsibility compliance
- Return to Work & Injury Management: case management, insurer/rehab liaison, workers' comp
- HRIS & Systems: administering the embedded HRIS, keeping records, onboarding and compliance data accurate
- Employee Relations:



day-to-day advice to Depot Managers and Team Leaders on performance, conduct and disputes
- Culture & Engagement: driving wellbeing, retention and engagement across a distributed, multi-depot workforce - including embeding a performance cycle program
- Compliance & Awards: Modern Award application (Road Transport Awards) and policy administration

What you'll bring

- Generalist HR experience or Recruitment Experence. - transport, logistics, supply chain or another blue-collar, multi-site environment ideal
- Safety experience, whether that's hands-on WHS exposure or working closely with a safety function
- A track record recruiting for high-volume or safety-critical roles - including candidates currently in transport recruitment ready to step up into an advisory role
- Confidence with Return to Work, injury management and workers' comp
- A genuine interest in WHS and Chain of Responsibility (or the drive to build this knowledge fast)
- HRIS experience, you'll hit the ground running
- Cert IV or Diploma in HR (or equivalent); a WHS qualification is a bonus
- Practical, discreet, resilient, and energised by an industry that never stops moving
