Social Worker Level 3 – Substance Use in Pregnancy Parenting Service (Nowra)
Salary: $61.31 – $63.30 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging. Employment: Permanent Part‑time, 24 hours per week.
Location: Nowra. Grade: Social Worker (Level 3). Applications close: Wednesday, 29 July 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist social work services to patients, clients, consumers and their families/carers to ensure optimal health outcomes consistent with ISLHD policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
- Deliver support through the Substance Use in Pregnancy and Parenting Service, applying a strengths‑based, open and flexible approach.
- Collaborate with the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) team in an inclusive, strengths‑based manner, listening to understand rather than labeling.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
