Exciting casual opportunity based in Jindabyne, NSW. This role may transition to a permanent position subject to performance. The role requires travel with participants outside the town, so applicants must have access to a reliable personal vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of services to participants to support them to live a fulfilling and meaningful life in the community.
- Assist and support participants with daily life tasks, including personal care, domestic activities, social and community participation, and varying skill development activities.
- Open availability is highly regarded, although not essential.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or related fields (desired but not essential).
- Experience and knowledge with physical disabilities will be an advantage.
- Current valid driver’s licence and registered, insured vehicle.
- National Police Check completed within the last 12 months.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Orientation Certificate (free online course).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Manual Handling training desirable.
- Independent, proactive thinker able to follow direction and work within a tight‑knit team.
