About the Role

As an Experienced Barista at Stellarossa Parkside Cafe, you will be busy pumping out coffees and preparing cold drinks for dine‑in and takeaway, while interacting with guests, taking their orders, and supporting your fellow team members. This is a casual position with lots of hours on offer, including weekend work, which is a must.

Responsibilities





- Prepare and serve high‑quality coffee and espresso beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior baristas.
- Dial in grinders to Stellarossa espresso recipe.
- Interact with guests, taking their orders, answering their questions, and providing exceptional service all‑round.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests at their tables or for them to take home.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment, or kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high‑pressure environment.
- Availability to work weekends is essential.
- A charismatic, engaging, bright, and bubbly personality.
- High energy and productivity levels.
- Openness to learning and following systems.
