Latrobe Regional Health is looking for O&G; Consultant to join our growing team on a part time fixed term basis.

- Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care in accordance with clinical practice guidelines, safety standards and LRH policies across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Develop and review person-centred treatment plans that address clinical needs and support continuity of care, including effective communication with community practitioners.
- Ensure accurate, timely and legally compliant documentation that supports communication, handover and ongoing care.
- Provide leadership, supervision and teaching to junior medical staff, medical students and multidisciplinary learners, and be accountable for delegated care.
- Participate in development, implementation and review of clinical guidelines, policies, protocols and quality improvement initiatives to promote best practice.
- Contribute to service planning, hospital activities, professional development and senior medical staff on-call and ward service rosters as required.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Integrity, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- MBBS (or equivalent)



with current registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and Recent Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
- Demonstrated clinical expertise commensurate with a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, including the ability to manage complex and high‑pressure clinical situations.
- A person‑centred approach with strong commitment to quality improvement, safety, continuum of care and professional standards.
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor and develop junior medical staff and contribute to education across disciplines.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to organisational change, service demands and evolving models of care (postgraduate qualifications in research, public health or management desirable).
