About the Role

MSS Security is seeking a Full Time Team Leader to join our team at mining village site in the Moranbah area. This role requires you to lead and support the onsite security team while ensuring the secure, secure and efficient operation of village security services. This is a 7 on 7 off roster, open to candidates residing in Moranbah, FIFO from Brisbane and DIDO residing within a radius of 600 kms.

Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and support Village Security Officers, including delivering site-based training and daily pre-starts.
- Coordinate security operations, resource allocation and compliance with site procedures, audits and training requirements.
- Conduct patrols, welfare checks and inspections to maintain a safe, secure and compliant village environment.
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid where required, and complete accurate reports and documentation.




- Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders while responding professionally to enquiries and site issues.
- Provide operational support to site leadership, including after-hours assistance, injury management coordination and night shift coverage as required.

Skills & Experience

- Full Australian working rights.
- Current Unrestricted Drivers Licence.
- Current QLD Security Licence (class 1 - unarmed, crowd control, monitoring).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- Minimum experience in the security industry of 5 years.
- Ability to successfully pass a Full medical assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol test HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing (preferred).
- Master licence: 41299.
