Job Description

As an Assistant Manager - Event Operations, you will assist the F&B; Operations Manager - Events with the daily operations of our food and beverage event operations team, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining guest satisfaction. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences will be essential for success in this role.

About the Candidate

Ready to take your career to new heights? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our Event Operations leadership team on a permanent full-time basis. With a focus on creating memorable moments for our guests, we strive to exceed expectations in every aspect of our operations.

- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or related field is highly advantageous
- Previous experience at a managerial level in event operations including competence in rostering and wage cost control
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment is mandatory




- Current Responsible Management of Licenced Venues Certificate and Approved Manager's Licence
- Previous experience responding to and resolving disputes relating to the Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Knowledge of event setup including flip, set and structures
- Demonstrated understanding of restaurant, barista and/or bar practices
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer and wines
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights and public holidays
- Team player and hands on with the flexibility to help out and support your colleagues
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
