Be a part of a team delivering strategic contract management and service improvements across NSW bus, ferry and light rail networks, ensuring high‑quality, customer‑focused services and value for money.

Responsibilities

- Manage complex service contracts, build strong partnerships with operators and stakeholders, and support service delivery improvements, compliance and commercial outcomes.
- Drive contract performance, manage risk and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in a energetic operational environment focused on delivering better outcomes for customers and communities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues, improve performance and achieve shared outcomes.
- Interpret contract, operational and financial data to identify risks, support decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
- Work within a hybrid model,



balancing flexible work options with on‑site responsibilities in Newcastle.

Qualifications

- Strong contract management expertise in public transport, infrastructure, regulated services or similar environments, capable of delivering commercial outcomes while balancing operational and customer needs.
- Recognised relationship builder and influencer with experience collaborating with operators and diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical capability and commercial acumen, skilled at interpreting contract, operational and financial data.
- Ability to manage risk and identify opportunities for improvement in a complex operational setting.
- Effective communication skills in a customer‑focused environment.
