About the Role

Abbey House is seeking an experienced Full‑Time Registered Nurse to provide high level clinical care to meet residents’ individual care needs that will help enhance their quality of life. This includes ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements, communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives as well as providing leadership and supervision to other nursing staff. This position will suit professional RNs who are versatile and passionate about aged care.

Skills and Experience

- At least 2‑3 years experience as an RN within aged care in Australia Essential
- A good understanding of contemporary aged care, clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision‑making skills




- Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.
- Great communication skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team.
- Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written documentation and assessment skills.
- A good knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards.
- Confidence in mentoring and providing supervision of PCW‑DCs
- Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
