Job Description

As a Resident Care Wellbeing Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering engaging, purposeful, and meaningful person-centred lifestyle programs that recognise each residents individuality, promote independence, and nurture strong community connections.

You will also have the exciting prospect to be part of the commissioning phase, contributing to planning, setup, and early program development to help establish a welcoming and vibrant environment for our very first residents.

- Assist in designing and delivering highquality lifestyle, wellbeing, and engagement programs
- Support residents to participate in meaningful, interestbased activities
- Use creativity and technology to enhance resident engagement
- Build warm, positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Contribute to establishing lifestyle routines, processes, and systems during commissioning
- Help create a fun, inclusive, and uplifting home culture from day one

About the Candidate

We're seeking qualified and enthusiastic Resident Care Wellbeing Assistants (Lifestyle Assistants) to join our brandnew, vibrant wellbeing team at our state‑of‑the‑art 89‑bed boutique‑style aged care residence in Wallan. This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in shaping the culture, programs,



and experience of our new community as we open our doors for the first time.

- Certificate III or IV in Ageing
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current DoFoodSafely Certificate
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience delivering lifestyle or wellbeing programs in aged care (experience as a Lifestyle/Resident Care Wellbeing Assistant is highly regarded)
- Creative, enthusiastic, and techsavvy
- Passionate about enhancing the lives of older people and supporting holistic wellbeing
