Immediate Start | Initially 3-Month temp contract | Fremantle & Kwinana | $59.07 per hour + super
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our client’s major redevelopment project and provide specialist scheduling expertise across all phases of project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile infrastructure program, supporting project controls, schedule management and project performance reporting from procurement and design through to construction, commissioning and handover.
Working within a agile project environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring project activities are planned, monitored and delivered in line with contractual obligations, key milestones and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, baseline and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using industry‑standard scheduling software.
- Build logic‑linked and resource‑loaded schedules reflecting project scope, contract milestones and critical path activities.
- Establish and maintain schedule baselines in accordance with project controls governance requirements.
- Integrate contractor schedules, procurement activities and design deliverables into the master schedule.
- Conduct weekly and monthly schedule updates, including progress tracking and forecast completion analysis.
- Perform critical path, near‑critical path and float trend analysis to identify project risks and opportunities.
- Undertake delay analysis using recognised methodologies.
- Support the preparation and assessment of Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, construction personnel and design teams to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment.
- Produce schedule reporting,
forecasts and performance insights to support project decision‑making.
About You
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ project scheduling experience, including at least 3 years on major resource, utilities or infrastructure projects valued over $200M.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated master schedules on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (essential), Microsoft Project and Planview PPM Pro.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling principles and project lifecycle management.
- Proven experience undertaking delay analysis and supporting EOT submissions.
- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies and contract administration, including NEC, AS 4902 and FIDIC.
- Experience using schedule risk analysis tools such as Acumen Risk, @RISK and Safran Risk.
