Licensed Electrical Inspector – Full Time, Permanent

Location: Tullamarine depot. Join our team to ensure compliance across the electricity distribution network and participate in an on‑call roster.

Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with the ESA, ES(G)R’s, VSIR’s, AS3000, AS2067, AS3010, AS5033, AS5139 and VESI ISTC procedures.
- Manage customer enquiries, provide technical guidance, conduct site meetings, and support network connections, dispatch, and control‑room operations during faults and emergencies.
- Inspect works, issue and close defect notices, investigate complaints, facilitate customer connections, and maintain accurate digital records.
- Engage stakeholders, provide technical expertise, and work autonomously or within a team environment.

Qualifications

- Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a fluid environment.
- A Grade Electrical Licence.




- G Class Electrical Inspectors Licence (V Class endorsement highly desirable).
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- ESI Worker Card.
