About Us
At Grow Therapy Services, we believe behaviour always makes sense.
We provide neuroaffirming, trauma-informed Positive Behaviour Support that focuses on understanding the person-not simply managing behaviour. Our work is collaborative, evidence-informed and grounded in respect for neurodiversity, working alongside children, young people, families and the people who support them.
About the Role
You'll work with children and young people with disability to deliver high-quality Positive Behaviour Support services across a range of settings.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Completing Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Developing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
- Building the capacity of families, educators and support teams
- Conducting school and community observations
- Participating in multidisciplinary collaboration
- Supporting restrictive practice reduction and elimination
- Delivering services via telehealth and/or face-to-face (depending on location)
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and reports
This role offers genuine flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people you support.
About You
We're ideally looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who can confidently manage their own caseload and work independently.
You'll have:
- Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support under the NDIS
- Excellent report writing and assessment skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- A neuroaffirming,
person-centred approach to practice
- Ability to manage your workload independently while working collaboratively with a team
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver's licence (for local applicants)
- Experience supporting autistic children, ADHD, communication differences, intellectual disability and complex support needs will be highly regarded.
We're happy to hear from developing practitioners with relevant experience who are committed to learning and providing high-quality, neuroaffirming support.
What We Offer
At Grow Therapy Services, we intentionally do things differently.
We value quality over quantity and believe great practitioners thrive when they're trusted, supported and given the flexibility to do meaningful work.
You'll enjoy:
- Flexible working arrangements
- Contractor or employment options
- Autonomy to manage your own caseload
- Competitive remuneration
- Administrative support
- A team-oriented and supportive team culture
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development
- The chance to contribute to innovative neuroaffirming practice and service development
Why Join Grow Therapy Services?
If you're looking for high billable targets and large caseloads, we're probably not the right fit.
If you're passionate about creating meaningful change, value authentic relationships with families, and want to be part of a team committed to respectful, evidence-informed practice, we'd love to hear from you.
Grow Therapy Services is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from practitioners of all backgrounds. We strongly encourage applications from neurodivergent practitioners and people with lived experience of disability.
