Environmental Health & Safety Lead

Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving a positive safety culture? We're looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Lead to take ownership of health, safety and wellbeing across a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with operational teams to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and continuously improve safety performance. You'll be a trusted advisor, leading safety initiatives, supporting leaders, and helping create a workplace where everyone goes home protected every day.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and promote a proactive safety culture across the site
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and incident investigations
- Develop, review and maintain safety policies, procedures and work instructions
- Drive continuous improvement through effective risk management systems
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to leaders and employees on WHS best practices
- Coordinate Return to Work programs and injury management
- Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation and company standards

About You





- Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within manufacturing, logistics or FMCG
- Current Return to Work Coordinator qualification
- Strong experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and audits
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, safety management systems and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Flexible to support operational requirements, including weekends and public holidays when required
