We are looking for hardworking, physically fit individuals who thrive in a collaborative setting and are willing to become qualified IICRC Certified Technicians

This position requires a high degree of autonomy, although you will work with other Highly Qualified Trained Technicians. Specialised Training will be provided on the job by our qualified Foreman together with Advanced Training Courses paid for by HWA Restoration

As you will be joining a Team of Highly Trained Technicians, you will be based at our West Perth Office but must be prepared to travel to Work Orders throughout the Southwest and Great Southern in Western Australia. This includes but not limited to Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Mandurah, Eaton, Collie, Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River, Augusta, Mt Barker and Albany

You will be paid away from home (Perth) Allowances, (Meal Allowances / Travel Allowances). When away from your base in Perth, all Accommodation costs are paid for by HWA Restoration, your employer

You must be agreeable to Overtime with Weekend Work together with Paid Travel

You are required to assist qualified technicians and perform but not be limited to the following tasks:

Specialised cleaning duties including carpet & rug cleaning with Window Cleaning

Emergency flood services such as water extraction, contents, and structural drying

Fire, smoke & soot damage cleaning / remediation

Small scale demolition and mould remediation

Contents cleaning restoration

Lifting and assisting with furniture moving and content pack outs

Preparation of field reports including risk assessments

What we require:

Construction Industry White Card ( HWA Restoration will help if required)

Full unrestricted current drivers licence (Automatic only is acceptable)

iPhone Apple Model 15 or greater

Clear police check or ability to obtain is essential

Must be Fit and Qualified in Technical Work with an ability to learn

Candidates must demonstrate moderate physical fitness and must not have any pre-existing back issues or other medical conditions that may affect job performance





WWVP (collaborating with vulnerable people) card or willing to obtain

Flexibility and commitment to work outside of business hours for on call

Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic

Experience is helpful in carpet laying, the building industry, remediation works, bond cleaning, carpet cleaning or trade background and will be highly regarded

Capability to work independently or as part of a team and unsupervised

Ability to travel to various job locations in Company vehicle at HWA expense

Willing to travel with Company Supplied Van to Perth for Emergency Work Orders

Capable of using and learning of our Trade Apps installed on iPhones by HWA

Valid Australian work authorisation is required for this position

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25kg regularly and work in various positions (kneeling, crawling, reaching)

A current driver's license

A solid understanding of diligence and capacity to complete set tasks thoroughly

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Must be proficient in the use of iPad and associated applications.
