About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our clinical team on a part‑time basis with a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight. Experience in scrub or scout is desirable. Monday to Friday flexible roster, some Saturday work available and optional. No public holidays and the Christmas/New Year period closed.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence‑based patient care
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with the surgical team is always a key focus
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in a Scrub/Scout Endoscopy role in a perioperative setting
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Ability to work a flexible roster
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
- Experience in below specialties desirable
