Overview

Carborough Downs underground Bord and Pillar mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, approximately 30km north‑east of Moranbah and 160km from Mackay and forms part of the broader Argo Complex. This integrated mining complex includes the Ironbark Longwall Mine and Broadlea Open Cut, as well as a centralised Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), where collaboration between our sites and teams is key to delivering safe and effective outcomes.
