Role Responsibilities

You'll support young people in residential homes, helping them feel safe, valued, and understood. You'll be hands-on, present, and a positive role model, guiding them through challenges, cheering on their wins, and providing care that protects their dignity, privacy, and independence.

About You

- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention,



or other relevant recognised qualification must be held or underway.
- If not included in your qualification, you will need to complete the mandatory units of competency: CHCMHS007 - Work effectively in trauma informed care; CHCPRT009 - Provide primary residential care; CHCCCS009 - Facilitate responsible behaviour; CHCPRT010 - Work with children and young people with complex trauma and attachment issues and needs.
- Non-qualified candidates can enrol and start minimum qualification training upon commencement, within the first two weeks of induction.
- Mandatory units must be completed within 12 weeks of enrolment.
