Job Description

As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

You will spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one‑on‑one with clients within their homes, supporting them with daily activities in home personal care, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing; providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan; supporting with community‑based recreational and social activities; and providing transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Responsibilities

- Provide scheduled visits and support to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, hygiene, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry and ironing.
- Follow individualised Care Plans to deliver care.
- Support clients in community‑based recreation, social activities and transport.
- Assist with shopping, appointments and other errands.

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Aged Care,



Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
- Roadworthy and insured vehicle (Third Party Property minimum).
- Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops).
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Employment Details

- Employment status: Casual.
- Location: Cunnamulla & surrounding areas.
- Remuneration: $36.32 per hour, plus casual loading, superannuation, salary packaging, allowances & travel reimbursement (km’s) and employee discounts.
