Trifecta Recruitment have partnered with a well-established national Commercial builder who deliver a diverse range of commercial new build and fitout/refurbishment projects across Melbourne.
Their portfolio includes Industrial, Retail, Education, Hospitality, Health, Office and Gym projects, typically valued up to $20M.
Based in Richmond, this builder has built an excellent reputation through repeat business, long-standing client relationships and consistently delivering quality projects. They have a strong leadership team, excellent systems and processes, and a collaborative culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contract Administrator to join their Melbourne team.
Your New Role
Working closely with the Project Managers and Construction team, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
- Managing procurement, scopes of work and trade packages.
- Processing subcontractor claims, variations and progress payments.
- Monitoring project costs and assisting with budget control.
- Managing RFIs, procurement schedules and project documentation.
- Supporting Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
What You Need To Succeed
- 2-5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within Commercial Construction.
- Local Melbourne/Australian construction experience is essential.
- Experience delivering commercial current build and/or fitout projects.
- Ideally delivered projects from start to finish
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
