Remuneration: $42.15 - $59.04 p/hr (dependent on experience) + Super + salary packaging benefits + kilometre reimbursement + 5 weeks annual leave (pro‑rata)

Role Overview
You will provide individualized, person‑centred speech therapy to our elderly clients living in our communities, actively incorporating contemporary theory and practice to promote independence and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Proactively screen and assess clients to formulate and maintain up‑to‑date individualized care plans
- Maintain open and fluid communication within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Refer clients to appropriate health care professionals when necessary
- Liaise compassionately with clients and their families
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
- Experience as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist, preferably in aged care (graduates encouraged)
- Speak Out! training (advantageous but not essential)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Transparent understanding and experience with contemporary speech pathology theories and practices
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance (as required)
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
